What we're about.
Signal Industrial Intelligence was founded on a straightforward observation: People do their best work when they are empowered to solve their own problems.
The result is predictable: operations teams with poor data visibility make slower decisions, miss early warning signs, and cede analytical work to vendors who don't understand the process. The data to do better almost always exists. It rarely makes it to the people who need it.
We exist to do this work properly, at the intersection of operational technology fluency and modern data engineering discipline.

How We Think About This Work
Operational Credibility
We advise on systems we have worked in. Our team has architected data transfer applications, tuned data pipelines, and run root-cause analysis on industrial processes. We do our best work with your people on the shop floor.
Structured Clarity
Every engagement produces written deliverables. We do not deliver strategy presentations that disappear into a shared drive. We produce documentation that a future employee, a new IT director, or an outside auditor can read and act on.
Client Operability
We build for your team's ability to maintain, not for our ability to stay retained. If a system we built requires our ongoing involvement to function, we built it wrong. Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary.
Where We Work
Based in Kansas City.
Our primary base of operations is the Kansas City metro area, which puts us within a day's drive of a significant portion of the U.S. industrial base, manufacturing operations in the Midwest, agriculture infrastructure across the Plains states, and logistics hubs throughout the region.
We travel for substantive engagements. If you're on the coasts or outside the U.S., let's talk, we are selective about travel but not geographically constrained when the engagement warrants it.
